Hi Missionary Mom!

te amo mucho! como esta??  yo estoy fantastic!  I'm glad your elbow is ok.  Just be sure to take good care of it.  If you need help ask for it!  Hugo is 20 years old, but he is doing such a great job!  We found him converted!  We still haven't had a chance to ask him about serving a mission, but I'm pretty sure he will.  This week we did a lot of work!  We found a lot of new people and there are a lot of people that are interested!  Things are continually getting better!  I know Heavenly Father is helping me in his work and I know that He is watching over me!

The kids are getting so big!  Kellston is so funny, but I know he loves you Mom!  I do too!  Wow it looks like I'm going to come back all famous from the sound of how much your talking about me.  Your such a great Mom!  The pictures I sent were one with Elder Spellacy, and yes that is my entire zone!  Yes as I'm sure you can already tell we are VERY crazy!  My companion and I are awesome!  We get along really well and work together great!

Thanks so much for everything Mom!  Love you more than all the Mothers in the world, and I'm lucky to have the best one! :D

Hola Mom!

te amo! te extrano tambien!  espero que este bien!  yo estoy bien y muy animado por estar aqul trabajando!  There's your little bit of Spanish practice haha!  Don't worry I'll be home in less than a year!  Take care of your arm and do what the doctors say.  Don't worry all will be well soon if you do what they say!  It's like the commandments, if you obey them all is well!  If not then you have to suffer the consequences!
I've actually been cleaning a lot too!  Oh and now I understand why you make a list before you go to the store!  If you don't you spend like a couple hours there trying to figure out what your going to get.  Now all the girls can have a good laugh about that one!  I love you Mom!  Some days are easy and others not so much but we must find the determination to continue on and it will all be well!

I love sharing experiences with you!  Trust me I still have a lot of learning to do and I need to be a better missionary. :)  No that doesn't mean I have been disobedient haha, I just want to be better!  Hugo is great!  He was actually just made  Young Men's president and is doing an awesome job!  Now that is pretty epic!  I love you more than all the universes that exist!  Have a great week Mom!  I love you so much!

Love for eternity

Pics from June 2014

Mystery Meal

Hugo's Baptism

We were teaching an investigator on her porch in the rain, so she gave us an umbrella.

The long road home!

June 30, 2014

Hola Mi favorita Mama!  como esta??

I'm glad you liked the picture of me with the umbrella.  It was raining really hard here and there wasn't a roof or anything outside to cover us from the rain.  We couldn't go inside either because there is only a sister that lives there so we had to stay outside to teach her.  The rain didn't bother us at all!  It was awesome!  Thank you for the package and be sure and tell all the priests and everyone that wrote notes thank you so much.  Especially Brother Moser, his note really meant a lot to me and it helped me a lot.  I loved the camel and all the pictures.  Who knew camels have so much in common with seasoned missionaries.  Tell Kim and Troy and their families thanks so much for the letters!  I loved it all.

My week was good.  We are struggling with getting members to help us but it's getting better slowly.  The work is definitely a lot harder when the members don't help much.  If the missionaries need help there don't hesitate to help them.  For all your sacrifices the Lord will recompense you more than you can imagine.

Well something exciting did happen with a member!  There is a member here who hasn't helped us much and has been going through some hard trials and he wasn't working in the church much but something interesting happened.  In 2 days we ran into him like 5 or 6 times.  Every time we would walk down a street or something or be in a lesson he would show up or we would run into him.  At first it was a little funny.  But after like the 6th time he told us Heavenly Father was trying to tell him something and from that moment on he changed!  He has been helping us so much and his attitude has changed a lot too!  So we are having a lot of success!

The zone conference was great!  I learned a lot.  We are working as a zone to see how we can best work in our areas and what methods work the best.  Thanks for everything Mom!  I love you more than all the drops of sweat I've shed.  I have no idea how many but it's a lot.  Miss you lots!  You look great Mom!  You've really lost a lot of weight!  Keep up the great work!  You are doing awesome!  Love you bunches.  Have the best week ever!

Love you most

Love you Dad

I love reading your titles for your letters, they are always so funny!  Mom told me about her arm, please take good care of her and of yourself too!  You both are always in my prayers.  This week was good.  We are battling a little with the members here to help us but it's slowly getting better!  I had an interesting experience this week.  We were talking to a contact and he invited a friend of his to come and talk to us.  This friend is from a church called The Light of the World.  From the moment he got out of his truck I knew things were going to be bad.  He wanted to talk and we decided to stay and talk with him.  I had talked with him once before and all he did was contend with us and that's why I didn't want to talk to him.  Needless to say, he did it again.  From the moment I started and asked if we could begin with a prayer he contended with us on everything and I got super mad at him and it was visible.  He kept saying we have no authority and that we aren't called by God and that really upset me.  I told him he was wrong and that I knew I was called by God.  All and all he only had his word against the evidence that we have and that evidence is the Book of Mormon.  In the end I realized something, I had to respond to him with love.  Before leaving I went up to him and asked him for forgiveness for getting upset and I gave him a hug.  Immediately his demeanor changed and his heart was softened and he asked for forgiveness as well and as I reached out to him with love I was able to leave him with a Book of Mormon and he accepted it.  That in itself was a miracle that he accepted the Book of Mormon.  I'm glad he did though.  The Book of Mormon can preach for itself and I have faith it will do just that for this wonderful man.  With all the baptisms I have had I have found them and been able to be with them to the end.  I'm almost positive Hugo will go on a mission, we are working with him on that now!  That day will definitely be really awesome!

Thanks for being the best Dad in the world!  I love you so much!  Take care of yourself and know that I love you!

Hola Hermana Cammack! (my lovely mother)

My last week was great!  I have been learning so much!  Guess what???  We had a baptism on Saturday!!!!  SURPRISE!!!!  :D   It was a great experience!  Hugo was the one who got baptized.  We all felt the spirit so strong!  He had to be baptized twice because there wasn't enough water and his foot came out the first time.  But the spirit was still strong and his family came too.  They loved it!  He also asked me to confirm him on Sunday and so I did and it was a great experience!  Hugo also received the Aaronic priesthood on Sunday and holds the office of a priest.  We are now preparing him to serve a mission!  I'm so excited!

If you think the driving is bad in Europe just wait until you see Mexico, it's way worse.  I'm so glad your time there has been so great!  Enjoy the rest of it and your time with Meg's and the kids.  Tell them I love them and say hi!

Our investigators are in a rough spot right now.  I'm pretty sure that are all passing through the trial of fire because they have a lot of challenges.  Please keep them in your prayers that would be great.  Love you all!  Right now I'm doing good, but will let you know if I need something.  Transfers are in 2 weeks, wow how time flies.  I love missionary work, my companion is fine and all is well!  I love and miss you all!  Don't worry I've got plenty of humor and hugs waiting for you.  Thanks Mom you inspire me too!  You are always so kind and positive and happy!:)  Thanks so much Mom!  I love you more than all the motorcyclists in Mante!  (there are a LOT of motorcyclists here haha)

Love you forever more

Hi Dad!

Surprise we had a baptism on Saturday!!!! :D  I'm sending photos of my convert to you guys!!!  I'm so happy!!!  Hugo finally got baptized and it was such a great experience!  He asked me to confirm him so I did that in sacrament meeting and it was so great!  He also received the priesthood yesterday and holds the office of priest in the Aaronic priesthood.  It's been so long since there was a baptism here and it was so great to finally have one!  We are also finding a lot of new people to teach!  The people we teach are referring  us to their friends and it's awesome!  The spirit is awesome and it's so much better to work by the spirit.  That's one thing that I've seen out here, as I give myself to the Lord he is guiding me to those who will receive me and the results have been great!  We have some great plans and I feel really inspired for this coming week!  I'm excited to go to work and help everyone!  We have a zone conference with president tomorrow, should be interesting.  I feel really good that I'm giving people the opportunity to listen to the gospel!  They may not join right now but possibly later they will!  We are working with Hugo to prepare him for a mission now!  That's so cool to think about a convert of mine serving a mission!  I know I will continue to learn all my life.  I'm really glad that I'm learning so much here!  Missionary work is fun!  I will definitely follow the counsel you have given me.  The ac works great, it gets really cold at night and I love it!  Thanks so much Dad!  I love you!  Take care of yourself and stay safe.  I love you and miss you so much!  Love you Dad!!!!
