Hola querida madre! te amo!
I hope all is well! This last week was super great for me! Last week was the best week that we have had here! I was really able to see the Lord putting the means in our path so that we could fulfill our goals! The only sad thing is that my companion is being transferred! Elder Santamaria is going to an old area of mine actually. He is going to Tempoal. My new companion is Elder Flores! I'll send a picture. He is from Ecuador and he is super cool and friendly. He is a band new zone leader and I get to train him. But we both are going to be learning because I'm still brand new myself. Honestly I don't feel any older. I still feel like I am 18. Yes I was taken care of very well! I did get my box and thank you SOOOOOO much for the gifts! I really appreciate them all and will treasure them! Being me I opened my box 2 days early haha but I saved the presents for my Birthday and I took pictures Mom so no worries! :D Tell Troy and his family thanks for the gifts as well as the Oaks! I am so excited for conference we get to listen to it at the Stake Center. Just pray for us that we can find investigators and that they will progress. Thanks so much Mom. I'm sending you a big hug! Thanks for the photos, they mean so much. I love you so much and don't worry I always think about you! You are my Mommy! Love you more than all the Spanish I have spoken haha!

Hola Querido padre te amo!
espero que este bien! How are you doing Dad? I miss you a lot! This last week was super great for me! We had the best week that we have had here in this area! I was able to see how the Lord answered my prayers and helped us to find people and fulfill our goals! I was praying for investigators and the Lord gave them to me! The last week we have had many spiritual experiences where we have been able to share powerful testimony with others who needed help and we felt the spirit! I'm doing good! My companion got changed and is now in Tempoal, one of my old areas and he is training! My new companion and fellow zone leader is Elder Flores! He is a brand new zone leader and I get to train him haha. But I'm still new myself! It will be fun. My Birthday was great and I did get my box, thanks! I was just happy that our day was super great that day! I had to laugh a little because we were in a lesson at the end of the day and out of no where I heard the Mexican birthday song come on from another house down the road and I thought it was a pretty funny coincidence haha. Yes Dad they do have McDonalds here. Yes I'm sure you can buy tacos there. Basically what is happening now is that in every zone there will be 2 zone leaders but in different areas and each zone leader will be training. In these changes right now I'm not training but I probably will be in the next one! For now my companion is a zone leader too. Thanks so much Dad. I'm really glad you share your testimony with me and that you are strengthening me. I also have a testimony of this church and gospel and know that it is true! We are playing for the true team of the Lord and we will not lose! Love you to infinity Dad!

Hey my awesome Mom!
I hope all is well and that you are doing ok! I love you Mom! This week was a really good week as well! We didn't have as much success this week in finding people or teaching lessons but I was happy even through the trials and we had some good experiences! This week we had a lot of lessons and plans fall through because people weren't there or couldn't accompany us to appointments. But we did have the opportunity to give service last week to a man that was shoveling dirt out front of his house! We stopped and asked him if we could help him and he readily agreed. So we got most of it moved for him. I was on divisions with a new missionary here and it was a great experience for us both! We had a really good opportunity after to teach the man and he is interested in the gospel. There is a youth here who is getting ready to leave for his mission next week and so we visited his Mom and I shared a scripture with her to help her not worry so much and to feel better. It was D&C 100: 1-2 and the situation made me think of you so that's why I shared that scripture! Love you Mom! Just keep that in your prayers and do what Heavenly Father tells you and all will be well! Tell Ray and Brother Godfrey I said hi and I know Heavenly Father will help him find a job!
I'm sure I will get my box before my birthday. Thanks Mom and yes I will take pictures! My companion is doing good. Thanks Dad!
I love you! I hope all is well with you! My week was a little bit harder in terms of success and numbers but in terms of spirit and effort it was great! I'm going to try even harder this week to be better! This week we were able to give service to a man moving dirt and it opened the door to share the gospel with him and that has opened the door to 5 future investigators! We still haven't been able to find him at home but we are going to keep trying! He seems interested. I hope you and Mom enjoy Makena's play tell her good luck.
We never stop working but it's a lot of fun. I've been trying to get to know my missionaries better and to help them be more successful. I will be honest though sometimes I wonder why I was put in this position. There have been a lot of times where I don't feel adequate or like there are so many others better than me. But no matter what the trial is I will always keep working and never give up! :D Yes I am doing great and the members love us! I haven't felt so much opposition in all of my mission. Satan is fighting hard against us and our investigators and they all have problems and aren't progressing very well but we will find a way to help them! I love you Dad and thanks for your love and advise! Keep being awesome! Love you bunches!

Te love! There's some Spanish for you. Hope all is well! I loved the pictures of dinner at Red Lobster. I miss those biscuits, it's been so long. This week was good mommy! I'm doing great and feeling great too! I'm super happy and I love being a zone leader! Leave it to Mom to pay attention to the details haha. Okay you caught, yes I was struggling a little but not anymore! I'm doing a lot better:D I know everything will not always be perfect. I just don't want to focus on the bad. I like being positive and that's what I like to share in my letters. I know no one expects me to be perfect. It's just my personality because I expect it of myself but I've gotten better! Thank you for your support Mom! :D Honestly I do feel really happy. I think I was made for missionary life! I love being a missionary! I've progressed so much in being happy even through trials! I know that I can be happy no matter what! I decide my happiness :D I'm really glad you love me and care for me! You are #1!!!! It's all thanks to the Lord that I'm becoming who I am. Thanks to him I'm me! We are lucky and blessed to have a prophet on the earth! Thank you so much Mom! Many miracles will happen this week! I love you! We are just breaking all kinds of records! I love you more than all the clouds I have seen in the last 3 days and that is a ton!

Hi Dad
I hope you are doing well! I love you a lot and miss you! This week was a lot better. I'm doing great and we have had some success with investigators! We have had a lot of problems come up though with a lot of our investigators. We have to get them divorced from old marriages and then remarried. It's a long process but we are going to do all we can to help them. I'm so excited to get my box be sure and tell everybody thank you for sending me things. I can't believe I'm going to be 20. I honestly don't feel like it. I feel like I'm still 18. The good thing is that we never cease to exist so time really isn't a factor anymore!
We have had some storms and some were pretty big. It's been raining here for like three days straight. There was no one at church because of the rain but we did have 2 investigators show up! We almost always have ocean breezes. It's almost always windy here which really helps with the heat. I really don't have that long left but I'm not going to focus on that. I'm going to work to the last second! I really like the work, it keeps me busy and it's actually fun. My body has gotten accustomed to it and everything is going good! I really like being a zone leader. This week we are going to have super splits. That means that the whole zone is going to have divisions! Awhile ago there was only one zone leader here in this mission. They are actually thinking about going back to that in the next change and they are thinking about having the zone leaders train too. So if that comes to pass then I will be pretty much a lone zone leader and training at the same time. That should be interesting!
You are a great father and I'm super grateful to be your son! We have had to let some things slide to another day but that bugs me because they need to be done. I don't like letting things slide because it makes me feel disobedient. But we have so much we have to do. It's really hard to fit it all in. I feel like Satan is trying all the harder to get at me and it just feels like a constant onslaught from him. But I know that he cannot win and that I shall be victorious. Sometimes I get discouraged but I've gotten a lot better at that. I've gotten stronger and I'm able to keep going forward and be happy too! I will always pick myself back up and keep on running! I will do my best! Thank you so much for your advise! Love you lots Dad!
