Hey Mommy!!!!
I love you lots, you would laugh if you saw one of the shirts I bought her.  It's got a picture of 3 really big muscular stripling warriors flexing and it says "Stripling Warriors, Mommas Boys".  It made me think of you!!!  I love the package, I've never seen so many muffins in my life.  Thank you so much!  I can't wait to talk to you.  I think I've got all I need and I don't think I need to send anything home.  Tell the home teachers hi and that I'm doing great!!!  I'm really doing good, I promise.  There are always ups and downs here but its a great learning opportunity.  The MTC has taught me so much and that I need to change  a lot, I'm doing my best to!  I still don't know when I leave because I don't have my visa yet.  I might get reassigned or stay here as a floater for now but I don't know.  Thanks mom I will always remember to be polite!  I love our memories and miss you lots.  I love you

Love you forever more

Hey Mom

Thank you so much for the early Birthday package, the others you sent and all the letters!!!!  I really enjoy hearing from you all.  The picture album you sent was so awesome, I love it a lot.  I thought the other stuff was really funny too!!!  I sent Dad my flight plans and when I'd call so be sure to get that from him!!  I go from Ft. Worth Texas and then from there to Mexico City and then to Tampico.  My longest flight is 2 and a half hours.  I should be able to call around 8 or 9  your time I think.  Once I'm in Mexico I won't be able to call, so I'll call you from Texas.  I did get my visa ask Dad about the crazy story.  I did get to a chance to host new missionaries about 2 Wednesdays ago!!  It was an awesome experience.  I'm leaving Monday so I probably won't get anything else you send.  I'm doing great!!!  I really miss your hugs.  I thought the pictures you in the album of you and Dad were cute, they made me laugh!!!  I'm glad you are my mom.  Don't worry you have the rest of eternity to spend with me!!!  I will be sure to be safe, I promise!!!  Thank you so much for all your love and support!!  I'm going to be the best I can.  I love you so much Mom and I'm grateful to have such a wonderful mother like you.  Be safe and watch over Dad.  I love you!

Well I'm doing great.  Don't get worried at some of the stuff you hear, it's all normal and I'm so happy here!  I don't know yet where to send packages or letters.  I would call the mission office and ask them.  My area is called aeropuerto 1 amd im in the chairel zone.  My apartment is definitely different then those in the U.S. it is really small and not very clean.  But it's sufficient and that's all I need!  My Spanish is good, I just need to work on listening to the people!  The people here are super nice.  Any little food items you could send would be great.  I love you Mom, I'll always be safe here I promise!!!  Take care of yourself and Dad too.  I love you both and you guys are the best parents ever!!

Greetings from Mexico

Hey everyone I've just finished my first week here in Mexico and let me tell you it is SOOO different from the U.S., but it's been awesome here and I love it!!!  There are only a few paved roads here and the rest are dirt and rocks and there are lots of hills.  It is HOT here, the humidity and heat together are no bueno!!!  I'm drenched every time we get back to the apartment.  Fortunately we are lucky enough to be one of the few houses in the mission that has clima or AC.  It's a tiny machine that looks kind of like a swamp cooler.  We also have a ceiling fan and a stationary fan as well.  It's really nice that the showers are cold though!!  We live at a members house in a little 2 room building off the house.  We use their washing machine in their backyard and we air dry everything.  No water here from the tap is purified water so everyone uses purified water in those huge blue jugs.  Most convenience stores sell purified water.  This week we haven't had any water so we had to use it from the tap.  Don't worry it's ok because we got these really good water bottles from the MTC that filter out the bad stuff.  Unfortunately it doesn't  change the taste, because it's not all that great.  The members here really take care of you and are super nice!!!  We are always fed really well and they always feed us a lot.  This past week we haven't had a chance to go to the store so I've been living  off of tortillas with peanut butter on them and a sweet dessert topping called lechera.  So we really had to rely on lunch for the whole day.  So far I've been able to participate in 3 blessings by doing the anointing they were really cool!  All 3 were in 1 night.  Don't worry I you see pictures of me on the beach because we actually are allowed to go to the beach once every transfer period.  We can't touch the water but we can go for pics and fun!  It was really storm today when we went and it was so cool!  There was so much lightning and thunder and it was SO loud.  I hate to say this but I've had to drink soda 3 times because we've had nothing else.  They have a lot of stores and restaurants here that are in America.  We have a Walmart so that's good.  They even have  Little Caesars!!!  My companions name is Elder Silva and he is from Peru.  He is so cool and we have a lot of fun together.  It's really humbling to come here and see how little people really have.  It's really humbled me and made me appreciate everything I do have and I thank Heavenly Father for all that he has blessed me with.  I almost had to give a talk the first Sunday I was here but the Bishop changed his mind.  So I'm good for another week.  Church here is really cool.  I go to Sacrament meeting and then to gospel principles and then to Elders quorum.  We don't do tracking here at all, we get references from the people in the barrio or ward, and street contacts.  On my way to Mexico from Texas I was able to give away my Book of Mormon to a man on the plane!!  He was way interested and really wanted it!!!  We walk everywhere here and the drivers here are nuts!!  I've almost been hit a lot of times but its good to know the Lord is protecting me!  The taxis here are comparable to those in New York and everyone drives a stick here.  President Jordan and his wife are awesome and I love them.  We don't baptize in this mission, only the members do that which is sad.  But I understand why, it's so the converts have friends in he ward and aren't relying on us.  We also always have a member in our lessons with investigators.  So much has happened here and it's crazy.  I'm right next to the airport so we hear lots of planes and I'll be here 12 weeks.  Really the only pests here are the dogs and cats.  I don't think I've ever seen so many in my life!  They are everywhere.  Well I hope all is well for everyone and that your all ok!

Love you all
Elder Cammack
