Hi Mom!
I love you! My week was a little interesting. My companion sprained his ankle a little bit and we couldn't work this week. He is alright now and everything is back to normal so don't worry! I'm doing great! I've just been studying the Old Testament and I've really learned a lot! The Old Testament explains everything about the organization of the church and it's so cool to see that! Thank you so much for buying that jersey for me. It looks so cool. My companion and I are doing really great! We are really getting along well and it's going awesome! We have found a whole lot of awesome investigators and we are working hard to help them now! I feel really blessed to have found all these great people and I know that Heavenly Father is helping me! For 2 days I wasn't in my area because my companion and another Elder had to leave to go to Tampico because they hurt their feet and so I was working with another Elder in his area. While being out of my area the Lord still helped me to have success! We were teaching a less active in the other Elders area and there was a lady there that wasn't a member and she is a friend of the lady we were teaching so she listened to us as well! It turns out that she lives in my area and she wants to learn from us! She also said some of her family want to change religions too and we are going to visit them as well! I know the Lord was helping me to have success! I'm so glad you are having fun. Tell the kids I miss them too and thanks for the prayers! I'm glad Jeremy got to Africa safe. Thanks for all the love mom! I love you more than all the people in Brazil! Thanks for everything. Love you! Have a great week!

Feliz dia de padre papa!
Te amo mucho! Hope all is well Dad! This week has been a little uninteresting. My companion hurt his ankle and we couldn't really work this week. But all is well now and he is okay. I had another interesting experience! My companion went with another missionary who had hurt his foot to Tampico to see a doctor and I stayed here with another missionary to work in his area. With all that said and being outside my area too I was still able to do a little bit of work! We were teaching a less active Sister and her friend in the area of this missionary and it turns out the friend lives in my area and wants to listen to us! So I found a new investigator and she told me her daughter-in-law wants to change religions so we are going to visit them too! It was great! I know that the Lord kept me back in Mante for that purpose to find those people! I'm grateful to be an instrument in his hands! This experience really is awesome. I love you Dad! Thank you for being you!!! Honestly being here has completely given me a new view and perspective and it has helped me to change for the better and become who the Lord needs me to be. I'm by know means done with the molding yet. I still have a lot to learn and a ways to go. I'm trying to do my best here and be the best missionary I can be. The mission life is a very different one and a lot of times it is really hard, but know matter how hard it has been I have never given up and I never will. I will keep working and try my best to do what the Lord wants me to do. I know Heavenly Father will help me through it all. These experiences really are amazing. Looking back on them it's so cool to see how the spirit is guiding me! Maybe my investigators won't progress well but I know I'm fulfilling my part by giving them the chance. I think that before I thought that every family or person that I contacted by the spirit would automatically progress and everything would be awesome. It is like that with some but I have to remember that people have their agency and maybe it will be that they won't progress right now. But I know I did right. When teaching I sometimes go into auto too because I've done it so many times but each person is different and I think a lot of people sometimes need to be taught in different ways and the spirit will help me to know exactly how to teach them. We just have to keep trying.
Our apartment is more or less big. It's comfortable and we have a water heater but we haven't bought gas for it right now because it is super hot and we like cold showers. We do have an air conditioner! I think it is a swamp cooler. Oh and also President and Sister Jordan say hi! We live on the bottom floor of a two story house. Yes we do have plumbing! I used my card for food, sorry I'm trying not to have to use it. It's just at the end of the month sometimes it gets hard because our money is short but I need to budget better so that is one thing I'm going to fix! Thanks for everything Dad! I love you!

A bigger hello from your son in the land of tacos!!!
Love you Mom!! Thanks for sharing that experience you had in sacrament meeting with me. I loved it and am glad you got to meet the General Primary President Sister Wixom and Elder Patrick Kearon of the Seventy. What they taught is true, we will be surprised how well we know our Father in Heaven and the Savior when we meet them again. It is also true that we all have trials and must choose to either go through them being happy or sad. Make sure you are taking lots of pictures! I'm sorry the missionaries there can't tract. We don't work by tracting here either but if we feel an impression we can knock on someones door. We do a lot of contacting in the street in between appointments. I'm trying to follow the spirit more in my contacting and it has turned out great! This last week I was thinking on where we should go and I looked down a street and felt that we should go down it so we did but there was nothing. I felt a little discouraged that maybe I had felt nothing but then looking down another street a voice in my head said to go down that street so I did and when we got to the corner I saw down another road a man washing his car. So we went and offered to help and from that a whole conversation started and he is interested in talking to us! After we left his house we passed by a sister who was watching us and she asked us if we were preaching and so a whole other conversation happened with her. We have another appointment! It was awesome and I'm glad I listened to the spirit! I'm glad my experiences are strengthening your testimony. This last week was a bit rough, but this week will be great! Thanks so much for buying me a soccer jersey from Germany, can you send me a picture of it. Thanks for everything Mom! I love you most mom! Love you more than all the cats and dogs in Mexico! (they're everywhere)
Love you best!

Hi Daddy!
Love you! Hope all is well. It's been really rainy and hot here. I'm not a big fan of the heat here and you can have the rain that's over here. I had a cool experience this week! I wasn't sure where to go one day and I looked down a certain street and felt like I should go down that street and so I did but nothing happened and so I was a little discouraged and I thought it had been nothing. Then I looked down another street and a voice in my head said to me to go down that street and so I did and I saw a man washing his car and so we went to help him. We started talking about the gospel and he wants to talk to us! Right after we passed by a lady who had been watching us and she asked us if we were preaching and so we started talking to her. She and her family want to talk to us too! We are really finding great investigators here! We are just working really hard to have them all go to church. If all of them go we will have about 10 investigators in sacrament at one time! I'm so excited and I'm going to work really hard! My new companion is very relaxed and we get along great! We are working good and being obedient! Everything is good! The work honestly is going well. I have a lot of faith that we are going to find and help a lot of people this week! One thing I'm trying to work on now is controlling my thoughts. That's been a big stumbling block for me. I want to be completely focused on the work and only think about the work. I've been improving a lot and I will continue to improve! Any tips to help? I'm really grateful for these experiences! I believe we can have experiences like these every day. If not I will be happy knowing that I tried hard!!! I haven't been sick and I'm doing great. I love you Dad! Miss you lots and can't wait to see you! Thanks for always being here to help me Dad! Love you.

Hi Mom!
I love you!!!! We had a great experience this week! We went to visit a family I had contacted. When we got there they were all excited to see us because they told us that they had prayed the night before for help from God because they wanted to get closer to him. Then the next day is when we showed up! They are super excited and came to church and loved it and will keep coming! They are a family of 4 and they are awesome! I'm so glad your enjoying yourself in Germany. It sounds so cool over there. I don't doubt how good Tayscen plays ball, he was always good at sports. No worries Dad is okay and you'll be back before you know it! Enjoy the opportunity while it lasts. The pictures your sending me from Europe are awesome, thanks! It's pretty crazy here too. Everyone is talking about la copa del mundo! Thanks for signing my name on the soccer ball. I feel good knowing that Elder Jon Cammack is on a giant soccer ball in Europe! Not many people can say that. I bet the food is great.
I'm sure Dad will be just fine, just keep him in your prayers :D My new companion is great! He is from Torreon Coahuila. He has been out less than me. Thanks for everything Mom! I'm doing great. I love you so much!
Love you more than all the tacos in Mexico!!! (and that's a lot)
Love you Most!

Hey Dad!
Love ya!! My new companion is from Torreon coahuila and he has been out for about 9 months. I don't feel like I've been out a year. It feels like less. My new suitcase is great and should last for a long time! I'm trying to have more inspired contacts now. I want to contact the people that are ready. We did have a neat experience this week! We went to visit a family I had contacted and we saw them and they were all excited to see us because they said that the night before they had prayed for help because they wanted to become closer to God and the next day we showed up at their door! It was great! They all came to church on Sunday and loved it!!! People don't understand what they are missing and it hurts when they reject it. I'm trying hard to help people accept it but it's like they can't comprehend what we are saying. Everyone here just thinks all churches are good and we all worship the same God so it doesn't matter what religion. Nobody is willing to sincerely try and find out if what we say is true, there are some and they are progressing great! Well things have changed a lot and I think it's gotten harder. I'm pretty sure this work is the hardest I will ever do but it's also the most rewarding. I'm glad that I will be involved in missionary work for the rest of my life! Thanks for the advice I will keep doing that! I'm trying to do more with prayer and study. I've started getting up at 4:50 so I can exercise and start my study at 6:30 or 7 so I can have about 2 hours of study time. It's actually helped a lot! I'm trying to get close to the spirit but it's hard. Thank you so much, love you and miss you Dad! Thank's for everything! Enjoy your week.
