Guten Morgen Mater!

Das gut! es bueno saber que habla el aleman!  Love you Mom! :D  The cold rainy weather there sounds great to me!  I can imagine how crazy the kids must be having to stay inside.  Mom the whole point of us being here on earth is so that we can live together as a family in heaven.  It won't always be like this where we are all separated.  It is only a short time!  You can have a lot of hope and happiness in knowing that you are an eternal Mom and Grandma!  These experiences with your kids and grandkids will never stop!  I bet Kellston has grown so big, hope he remembers me.  Lets just say that Braylei will be the smartest person in the world.  She shall find the cure for cancer.  Sounds like Troy is such a hard worker!  How did he do on his finals?  Tell him that I love him and miss him!  He is a great example to me!

I got transgered yesterday!  I'm now in Victoria City!  It's about 4 hours out of Tampico.  The climate is like Arizona.  My companion is American and his name is Elder Facer.  He is from Idaho Falls.  He just finished his training and I am his second companion.  He is my first American companion haha.  All will be well mom!  You just be your happy self and trust in the Lord and all will turn out perfectly!  I'm doing great Mom!  Thanks for everything!  I love you so much!  I love you more than all the burritos in Mexico!  I emailed the info about calling on Christmas to Dad.  I will call at 4 your time in Germany.  I only have 40 minutes to talk!  Can't wait to talk to you!

Hola Papa le quiero!!!!

I hope all is going well!  Well first things first haha.  I got transfered!  I'm now in Victoria City in zone Americas!  My new companion is American and he is just finishing his training.  I'm his second companion.  He is from Idaho Falls and his name is Elder Facer.  My new area is called Libertad 2.  We are 4 missionaries that are in this ward.  I was really sad to leave my old area and my old companion but I'm happy to be doing what Heavenly Father wants for me!  President moved me to this area because he said he was going to give me a break because I was working so hard.  He sent me to this zone to help the other zone leaders out.  It's hot here but the region is really cool!  We have mountains surrounding our area.  Hope you enjoy the cold in Germany.  Don't worry Dad all will be well, being in a foreign country isn't as bad as it sounds.  The climate here is more like that of Arizona.  Right now I'm getting to know the area and the members.  I developed a plan to work with the members and the bishop here and we are putting it in practice!  We are going to have a lot of success working with the members!  Thank you Dad, I love you!

Okay so I'm going to be very clear with this.  I will be calling at 4 in the afternoon Germany time!  That is 9 in the morning my time in Mexico.  Next week on Monday I will not be writing you guys because our preparation day is changing to Christmas Day.  So on the 22nd don't expect an email haha.  So Mom doesn't have to worry!  I need you to send me the skype address of Meghan and you to my email so I can have it ready to see!  Be ready at 4 p.m.  I only have 40 minutes to talk so after that 40 minutes I will be done!  I love you all!  Okay I think that was really clear, love you so much Dad!  Be safe and enjoy Germany!  Love you more than anything!

Hello Mom!  le amo!

I hope all is going well!  My week was good and a bit tough but it was good!  Your right I have never seen anyone that works harder than my Dad.  He deserves a break and some time to enjoy life!  Tell him to enjoy every minute in Germany!  I did get to see the First Presidency Devotional.  We are really fortunate to have the church leaders we do!  I know Heavenly Father loves us!  Thanks for going to the temple with Ty.  I'm glad you gave him a big hug for me.  The reason you feel so close to Ty and Bryce is because they are my brothers.  So pretty much they could be your kids lol. 

Well this week we have changes and I find out Sunday what's going to happen, so I'll let you know next week.  The week was good.  We have a lot of investigators that are having really good experiences!  One of them decided to pay tithing last week and she didn't tell us and she had a miracle happen.  She has a business selling food close to her home and the week that she paid tithing on Saturday her place was packed!  There were so many people!  So she came to church this week and wanted to pay tithing again!  So that was really neat!  We found a lot of people by the spirit this week and it was neat to see how prepared they are!  My companion is doing great.  He is learning a lot and he is enjoying the mission!  I was thinking about how I have changed the other day.  I have changed a lot and I will keep on changing because I have a long way to go.  Thank you for your support!  Our zone is doing really good.  The missionaries are awesome and I'm doing all I can to help them with the work.  I still haven't got my Christmas box but don't worry.  I'll let you know when I do.  I hope Brother Koga is ok.  I will be sure to keep him in my prayers!  Tell him I love him and that he is such a big hero to me!  I love you!  Love you more than all the tortillas I have eaten in my mission!

Hey Pop's

Love you and I'm really excited that you get to go to Germany!  I'm glad you and Mom get to do this together.  I'm really happy and excited for you!  You have to take a lot of pictures and tell me all about it!  Enjoy it Dad you really deserve it!  Enjoy the cold weather.  It's super hot here.  Enjoy the ward Christmas breakfast, with your luck they will have biscuits and gravy!  The weather is really bipolar here.  It's hot one second and cold the next.  We haven't had a lot of rain here recently but we probably will soon.  This week has been good and tough.  We weren't able to find new investigators this week but we are just going to start a new week and give it another shot!  That's one thing I really like is that with the sacrament we can begin anew each week!  So if one week goes bad it's ok just try and do better in the next one.  I don't have hot water, if I want hot water I have to heat it up on the stove and then mix it in with cold water in a bucket.  It works just fine though, I can't complain.  I've been really blessed!  The class went super great!  We really felt the spirit and it was awesome!  I hope you and Mom heard about the new initiative that the church put out called, He is the Gift.  Be sure to share the video with everyone you can!  The video is on Christmas.mormon.org.  Things are going smoothly and I know we are going to progress!  You guys enjoy yourselves in Germany and don't worry about me!  I'm in the Lords hands and there is know safer place!  All will be well!  Know worries Dad I will do that!  I never give up!  Thank you for telling me that, I'm glad to know that I really am doing a good job!  Thanks so much Dad, I love you bunches!

Hi Mom, I love you!

Sorry I haven't had time to send you a picture!  I don't think I have one of just me Mom, sorry.  What Brother and Sister Cox got to take Josh to lunch????  Lucky!  You would never stop crying haha but you don't have long to wait to see me.  Thanksgiving sure looked fun.  I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves!  Remember Mom living the gospel is the best way to have the family close together.  Well this week was a bit harder but it was still good.  It's amazing to see the gospel take effect in peoples lives and transform them.  I've especially seen that in my own life.  I have changed like 150% and for the better!  I've come to learn so much and I've seen the blessings in my patriarchal blessing fulfilled!  I still have a lot to learn in the time that I have left but I'm so excited for it!  Just keep praying please, mothers have powerful prayers and that is what I'm counting on from you Mom!  Just live the gospel the best you can!:)  The zone plan turned out great!  I'm really excited for this month and I think things are going to go really well!  I love the responsibilities that I have been entrusted with!  Although I can't say I'm anywhere near being an excellent zone leader I can say that I'm trying to give it my all and I will keep on being better!  I need to know ASAP what the time change is between here and Germany.  I think it's going to be like 10 or 11 hours.  I need to know the time change and at what time to call you guys.  If possible I have to call before 4 in the afternoon Mexico time.  Where I am I'll be able to use Skype.  I need to know by next week please!  We have a few investigators that are close to baptism!  Thanks so much Mom.  I love you more than all the tamales that will be eaten here in this month!  Love you best!

Ok that's just unfair sending pictures of the food on Thanksgiving!  It looks really good!  I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves.  Tell Craig I miss his cooking, (and mom and you too)!  I don't even know where to begin!  Lets just say I now understand what it means to be stressed haha!  It's been really good and I love it!  I will tell you it's not easy though.  This has definitely been a challenge for me but I'm not giving up!  This last week was a little more difficult but I'm staying positive and I won't let that get me down!  I will just have to work better this week.  Our zone is doing really good!  The missionaries are excited and on Wednesday we are going to have the zone class that we teach.  It's going to be a lot of fun!  We have a really good zone here!  Thanks Dad for your advice.  Right now I'm just trying to focus on getting through right now.  I love you Dad!  I am doing what exercise I can.  Have a good week and take care of yourself!  I love you!

Hey Mom!

I love you!  Sorry I don't have much time this week!  We have been busy all day working on a zone plan that we have to have ready and it took up most of the day.  I promise I'll write more the next week haha.  But all is well!  We had some really good experiences this last week and we had 5 investigators come to church.  I  know Troy teases you about loving me more but tell him you love all your children the same!  I promise we will follow all your instructions in opening the Christmas gifts.  That's part of the fun and I promise that I will wait and take pictures.  Thank you so much!  ha ha ha woops I mean ho ho ho!  Tell Troy and his family and the Oaks thank you in advance and I love them all.  Everything is going great Mom, my companion is doing really great as well.  We are learning a lot!  He is definitely a good companion!  I'm not sure if I will get changed or not but I think I will get changed.  We have changes in 4 weeks on December 15.  Thanks Mom!  One reason I'm grateful for you is that you always cheer me up and you are always positive and smiling!  Keep on being the Mom!  I love you and sorry again that my letter was short.  Love you more than all the stuffing that will be eaten this week!

Hey Dad!

I love you and miss you!  Sorry but I don't have much time to write this week!  We have been super busy all day working on a zone plan!  I promise I will write more next week.  I really appreciate all you do for me.  Well it's a bit stressful at times but I'm doing good!  I am trying to continually be better and I know that I will keep on progressing!  I'm really learning a lot though and that's good!  My companion is great!  He is getting used to things right now but is doing super good!  Well I'm teaching him English right now, that's part of the training lol.  Well I have a lot I need to do better so I can help him in his kingdom.  I've been emailing Bryce constantly but I haven't heard from Geordan in awhile.  We are still finding people but not as much this week.  That's okay the next week we will find a lot.  We had a miracle with one of our couple investigators.  They were living together and had been for a long time.  We told them they needed to get married but they couldn't because one of them was married to someone else a long time ago and hadn't gotten a divorce.  They went and talked to a lawyer and he told them that they had been separated so long that they were automatically divorced.  They don't have to pay or do anything!  They just need to get married and they are good.  This last week we were on a bus and when we got on I saw a youth and the spirit told me to talk to him but I wasn't sure at first so I went and sat down and finally got up and talked to him.  So it turns out his brother had been listening to some other missionaries and this guy had a lot of interest so we have an appointment with him this week!  Thanks for everything Dad!  I love you and I am doing great!

Hola Mama!  le quiero mucho!

This last week was really amazing!  My new companion is Elder Gutierrez!  He is really awesome and we get along very well!  He is from Chihuahua Mexico!  We got to eat in the mission home on Tuesday and then we got paired with our trainees!  We had a big training meeting with president and I really learned a lot!  Thank you so much Mom!  You are the best ever!  You are very talented Mom!  We are so fortunate to have the prophet we do!  He is a great man.  I feel that I can overcome anything when I go to the temple!  We are truly blessed to have so many temples close.  My week was super awesome!  About 2 weeks ago Elder Flores and I contacted a lady and this week Elder Gutierrez and I found her family at home and we taught them and the spirit was so strong!  We got there and the Father was so burdened with something that he was almost in tears at the end of the lesson.  When we went back the second time he was so different and HAPPY!  They are now progressing to baptism!  We are so blessed here!  I am so blessed to have my new companion he has been a great help to me this week.  I have a lot to make better and I know that he will help me!  Our investigators are great.  We have about 6 or so that are on the way to be baptized and we are finding more.  Thank you so much mom!  I know you will love Christmas in Germany!  I am really blessed to have you for my Mom!  Heavenly Father knew I needed you for a Mom!  I love my Mother more than all the particles of dirt on the earth!  Love you bestest!

Hey Dad!

I love you!  This week was really great!  So my new companions name is Elder Gutierrez and he is from Chihuahua Mexico!  I'll send you guys a picture.  He is really awesome and he just completed his first week in the mission!  It is really awesome and exciting to be training!  It is definitely a great responsibility and you learn a lot from it.  This week was a little crazy with getting use to everything and getting adjusted but we are getting back into the swing of things!  It is really fun being with Elder Gutierrez!  We had a really spiritual experience with an investigator in a family home evening!  The spirit was so strong!  We talked about eternal families!  Wow that is really cool about the Phoenix temple.  I really like the Gilbert temple too.  I realized that I have been so blessed in my life and I feel even more grateful for things I didn't realize were such a big blessing.  Well it is definitely interesting and a lot of work.  But it's work that I love!  I'm continually trying to be better and be a good example to my companion!  He is a really good companion!  Well sometimes it is challenging but I'm trying to do the best I can and I have been really blessed!  The spirit helps a lot!  The trust President has in us is really big and it is a valuable thing!  Only a few of the zone leaders are training right now.  My new companion talks a lot of Spanish.  We have had a lot of success this week and the spirit helped us to find a lot of people!  We are continuing to progress and do better!  Heavenly Father has really blessed me and I'm so grateful for that!  I know the gospel is true and that this church is the church of Christ!  I love you Dad!

Hello Dear Mother!

I hope that you are well!  I am doing super great here.  Well we just had transfers again!  Something interesting happened.  Elder Flores and I split up and are now training!  In our ward there are 2 areas.  He is in one and I am in the other.  We are both still zone leaders but now we are training new missionaries as well!  It is super awesome and super crazy!  I'm so excited!!!  I don't get assigned to my new companion until tomorrow so I will let you know next week what happened!  Let me just say that I had like absolutely the best week ever!  We had 6 investigators come to church and they all loved it and they all have baptismal dates!  Sunday night a sister from our ward accompanied us and we met 3 of her friends and taught them all and put baptismal dates with them!  It was a really great experience.  I'm so happy with the success that we have been having here!  I know that the Lord is really blessing us and that he will continue to bless us even more!  My week was great Mom!  I had a lot of experiences where the spirit guided us to find people!  I was on divisions with an Elder and he had an impression to go and help some sisters that I didn't notice.  They were shoveling a huge pile of dirt.  So we went and helped them and taught them and 2 of them came to church!  They loved it!  It was such a neat experience!  I have a testimony of service with piles of dirt!!!!  It really works.  Yes I am getting plenty of rest!  Thank you for everything Mom!  I love you!  Have a fantastic week and spread the gospel and think of me!  I love you more than all the moms in the world!

Hello Pops!

Love you and miss you tons!  I have really great news!  I am now a training zone leader!  My companion and I are both still zone leaders but in different areas.  We are both training new missionaries as well!  As of right now I have no idea who my new companion will be but I am super excited!  I am really excited to learn and grow from this experience and I am sure that this new missionary will help me a lot!  I also had like the best week ever!  Six of our investigators came to church and it was just awesome!  They all have baptismal dates as well!  There was one day that I was on splits with another Elder and we had the goal to find 5 new investigators that day and we beat that goal!  We found 6!  The spirit really helped us!  Our lessons were really spiritual too and we could see the desire of these people to change.  All and all it was a great week!  Glad it's cooled down at home, it has cooled down here to.  We are really having great success, we found 15 new investigators!  Thank you so much for your counsel Dad I really appreciate it!  I love you!  Have a fantastic week and take care of yourself!

Hi Mom!

I'm doing really great!  How are you?  This last week was a little bit rougher because we had some investigators drop us and a lot of members couldn't accompany us but it was still a good week!  We had the mission council and it looks like we might be getting I-pads sometime but I have know idea when.  The council was really inspiring though and I really enjoyed it!  There are a lot of things that I want to change and do better!  Sorry Mom, I promise that nothing is wrong and nothing happened!  If you don't get an email just wait until Tuesday!  I'll try to let you know ahead of time if I can.  I love you!  I'm grateful for you emails.  The temple was really great and helped a lot!  Yes we did take pictures and I'll try to get them sent soon!  I'm excited for your trip to Germany and that Dad gets to see all the history places he wants to.  Sounds like it will be a lot of fun.  Our investigators are good.  We have a few that are progressing and hopefully more will soon.  Thank you for your prayers.  Busy doesn't even describe it!  But it's a lot of fun.  We have been busy making the new zone plan.  It's a plan that all the missionaries in our zone follow to help us do better and have more success.  So we have been busy making that and working in our area and with the mission council and a lot of other things.  I haven't sent my suit yet but I will.  I can listen to efy and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and anything with the church label on it.  When we got the cub scout's box we ate everything in the first day!  My shoes are fine and yes my socks are all great.  I love you more than all the buses in Mexico!  Have a great week Mom and thank you so much for everything!  I love you best!

Hello Dad!

I love you!  I hope all is well!  Your Stake Conference sounded like a great meeting.  It's amazing how we can use technology to spread the gospel!  Heavenly Father really inspired that field!  I'm glad you and Mom went to Payson and enjoyed the mountains.  My week was really good!  It was a bit more difficult as we had some investigators drop us and a lot of appointments fell through but we still had a successful week!  We have kind of slowed on our contacts a little but we are starting to pick up again.  We were really focusing on working with the members and investigators we had but we need to keep contacting more.  We are going to have miracles here!  Without Heavenly Fathers help I could do nothing.  Right now I'm really trying to become a better person and a better missionary.  A lot of times I feel like Nephi because of the many sins that so easily beset me.  It's amazing how so little can be really big stumbling blocks.  I know that with Gods help I can change and be better.  Thank you Dad!  Have a really good week and be safe!  I love you and miss you!  Sorry if the letters are short this week I didn't have much time!  I love you though and I'm doing really great!  Love you more than all the coke in the world!

Hola Mama! 

te amo!  espero que estes bien!  Know Mom there are a lot of missionaries way better than me.  I'm very fortunate to have one of them as my companion right now!  Elder Flores is awesome!  Thanks for praying for my investigators, it really helped!  We had a super neat experience!  On Saturday we were really close to the house walking by a little corner store and I had the thought to go and buy some bread because I was hungry so I did.  We met the owner of the store and started talking to her and we found out she has a son who is a member in Texas.  We taught her and the next day she came to church and loved it!  She wants to come back and I'm almost positive that she will be baptized!  You and Dad are both huge examples.  My cloths have been holding up super great!  I still have a few shirts that I haven't even used.  I just need to clean my suit because last Sunday it was pouring buckets here and I was up to my knees in water with my suit pants and I jumped in a huge pile of mud by accident thinking it was solid.  My shoes are doing good!  Well one pair that is haha the other pair got wet.  We have the council with the mission president and the other zone leaders this week.  Thanks for the hugs Mom I'm sending you an even bigger one!  I love you more than all the miles I've walked in my mission and that's like 8 to 10 a day!  Love you best Mom!

Hola Papi te quiero y te extrano!

We had a really great week!  We are really augmenting our numbers and we have been finding a lot of people!  We met one of our neighbors on Saturday and Sunday she came to church!  We also went to the temple today as a zone!  It was such a great and needed experience!  The new video is amazing!  We also had an investigator that got attacked (verbally) by some relatives because she has been listening to us but she feels that what we teach is true and she wants to keep on listening!  We also had some investigators that stopped listening to us this week.  They have had hard trials and they decided to just step away but I know that Heavenly Father will help us find more people to teach and I know we planted a seed or helped that seed grow so it wasn't wasted!  The work is going really good!  President Jordan and the assistants congratulated us on the success we have been having as a zone!   By know means is it thanks to us.  It's all thanks to Heavenly Father and the amazing missionaries we have here!  The results of this zone have really augmented and are the best they have been in some time!  I'm really happy to be able to help and do what I can!  I love being a missionary and serving others!  I just love working!  A lot of times things don't happen like we want but if we learn to align our will with the Lords then we will find that everything happens just as we want.  Thank you for all you do!  Be safe and go walking with Mom!  Love you pops!

Hola Mama!

Te quiero mucho y te extrano!  How was your week Mom?  My week was really good!  We had a lot of progress this week!  We have been super wet as well.  It has been raining nonstop.  It was really sad because there was hardly anyone at church this week because of the rain and we only had 2 of our investigators come, but 2 is better than none!  This week I have been learning a lot and I see a lot of things that I want to change and do better and that is what I'm going to focus on!  I want to be a better servant of the Lord and be a better missionary!:D  Tell Brother Godfrey thank you for helping you guys!  I'm really sorry for being a pain a lot of times when I was growing up.  I really wish I would've helped more and I will be sure to help all I can when I get home!  You both have done so much for me and I want to do all I can for you and Dad!  That's really great that you and Dad are reading the scriptures together.  I'm really happy to hear that!  Thank you so much for your support Mom!  I love you!  This week we had many experiences but I have learned a lot about repentance.  We need to change into the people that the Lord wants us to be, but we have to let him mold us and shape us.  If we are willing to strive to obey him and helps others then we will be blessed!  I have a testimony that the church is true Mom and I love being a member!  We are truly blessed and I love sharing this message with those who will hear it!  I love you too Mom and all you do for me!  Love you more than all the drops of rain that have fallen here in my mission!

Buenas tardes papa!

te quiero y te extrano!  I hope you are doing well Dad!  My week was really successful!  We had a lot of success working with the members and we have augmented our results!  I've been really blessed to see the progress here in my area and in my zone!  We are getting better everyday.  I always love your sense of humor, don't ever lose that!  I love you!  Right now I want to focus on changing myself so I can become a better person and be more of the person that Heavenly Father needs me to be!  I have a really big desire to serve Him and I want to be the best qualified I can.  I know I won't be perfect but what I do know is that I will never stop trying!  I'm seeing things I need to change and I'm trying my best to prepare myself now.  I'm really excited for this opportunity!  Dad I know that you were a great missionary and in fact I think that we are a lot alike.  Your mission helped you become the person you are and for that I am super grateful!  You have helped me all my life and I am very fortunate to have you as my loving father!  I love you and miss you Dad!

Hola mi querida madre!

te amo!  My week has been pretty good.  As a zone last Friday we broke a record of finding 28 new investigators in 1 day!  The assistants told us that night that out of the whole mission our zone found the most new investigators that week!  It was super cool and it really helped the zone!!!  We are working hard to keep the missionaries excited and animated and working hard and we are continually getting better!  Tell Jeremy thanks for the prayers.  I'm honestly doing fine.  This area that we are in is just a little hard because the investigators we have aren't progressing but we are staying positive and we will find the way to work best in this area.  We worked pretty hard this week.  The investigators aren't doing so hot right now but we are trying to change that.  We are going to have a lot of success this week!  Another highlight is that we have steadily been increasing the amount of lessons that we have had where a member accompanies us.  This is a goal for us to have members in the lessons with the investigators and it has been steadily increasing.  Yes Mom make sure you are studying your scriptures every day!  It is very important to do that because by doing the small and simple things we can achieve miracles!  I definitely notice a difference in my day when I don't study the scriptures well and I know we need the peace that comes from reading them!  I want to send a message to the cub scouts that sent me a care package:  Being a missionary for me is something beyond special.  I don't have the words to describe the happiness it brings me.  Being a missionary doesn't mean being perfect or knowing everything.  It is representing Heavenly Father to his children and showing his love for them.  I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father because I love him and this experience has changed me completely and in know way do I or ever will I regret this decision!  Prepare right now for your missions and you will see miracles!  Heavenly Father loves all of you and so do I! 

Thank you Mom this mission really has changed me a lot and I'm really grateful for this opportunity!  I know that I am where I need to be and I know this church is true!  I have a testimony that missions are inspired of God and that they are essential.  I love you more than all the leaves I've seen here!

te amo mucho!  me da mucho gusto saber que esta bein!  This last week was pretty good!  As a zone we broke the record for the most new investigators found in one day!  We found 28 new investigators in one day!  That night when we talked to the assistants they told us that out of the entire mission our zone had found the most new investigators that week!  We are really progressing here!  Also we had a neat experience in our area.  I was on divisions with a brand new Elder and we were contacting some references and when we contacted one this guy came out and at the beginning he was pretty hard, but as we kept on talking to him he opened up to us!  We were able to feel the spirit strong and he asked us about some doubts that he had and we were able to clear them up.  Now we have a return appointment with him!  It's really neat to witness the spirit work on people!  All we do is prepare the setting and watch what takes place!  It was a great experience!  I have really been learning a lot and changing a lot.  I'm really grateful for that.  The investigators aren't doing so good right now because none of them are progressing.  We are working really hard to help them and I know that everything will be ok and we will be able to have a lot more success.  :D  I've been making sure to write in my journal everyday and record the experiences.  I've got pretty much every day and important experiences covered for my mission.  So president pretty much told me and my companion what our transfers are going to be.  It's not official or anything but it's what will most likely happen.  He told us that he is going to do the same thing with us that he has done with other zone leaders.  He is going to separate us zone leaders in 2 different areas and we both are going to train new missionaries that arrive!  I'm super excited!!!!  But like I said anything can still happen but it will be crazy training and at the same time being a zone leader.  I'm super excited for it though.  In our divisions we had a super powerful lesson and the spirit was so strong that our investigators were crying!  We are getting really good at having the spirit.  Everything else is going great.  I'm happy and positive and will keep on working! :D  Thanks so much Dad!  I love you so much!  Be safe and share the gospel!

Hi Mom!!!!

I'm super happy!  We had such an amazing week!!! :D  We found 15 new investigators this week!  We had SO many spiritual experiences!  It was great.  One thing we have been really focusing on is having the spirit with us and working by it.  What a difference it made!  There was a niece of a member we met and we started talking to her and everything and in the beginning she was super defensive but we kept talking to her and we found out why.  After we found her need she asked us a question.  She asked us who is God?  I then shared my testimony with her of who he is personally for me and then I asked her why she was asking us if she wanted to know who God was.  We then explained to her that she can know for herself by praying and the spirit was so strong!  We also talked about eternal families and the temple and she had a 180 degree change.  We later found out from her relative that she had felt something way different with us than the other missionaries  because she had talked to a lot.  She will get baptized!  We had a whole lot of other experiences just like that!  My companion is fantastic!  We get along super well.  Look through my old pants and shirts too and whatever he can use give it to him please!  Elder Santamaria and I both loved our CTR rings thanks so much. 

I loved conference and it's hard to pick which talk was my favorite but I loved that they spoke in their native tongue.  Of course I understood them all except for the one in Cantonese.  I really liked President Uchtdorf talk about how the truth doesn't change but it is our perspective that changes!  I really loved this conference and it flew by so fast!  I really like Elder Bednar's talk to, we had 2 investigators there and one of them is progressing really well.  I'm glad all is well!  You are looking great Mom!  Keep up the good work.  You have moved mountains!   Thank you for everything!  I am very happy.  I love you more than all the seconds we spent in general conference!

Hey Dad!

I love you and miss you!  I am really learning a lot here on my mission and it has been such a rewarding experience!  I'm so happy to be a missionary!  This week we had one of the best weeks ever.  We found 15 new investigators and as a zone in one day we found 25 new investigators!  Things are going great here.  We had a really neat experience last week.  We went to visit a lady who had been listening to the missionaries and we talked about families, temples, and eternal life and the spirit was so strong!  She felt it and we pointed out to her the change in the atmosphere that had taken place when the spirit was present!  She wants to be baptized and it was great!  We had a lot of other experiences like that last week too!  In one day we found 6 new investigators.  I watched all of conference and yes I understood them all in their native language except the Cantonese one.  I think this new idea is great to share their talks in their own tongue.  It was so cool!  President Jordan is really great.  I'm fortunate to have him as a mission president.  Our investigators are well.  I love you Dad!  Thank you for everything!

Hola querida madre!  te amo!

I hope all is well!  This last week was super great for me!  Last week was the best week that we have had here!  I was really able to see the Lord putting the means in our path so that we could fulfill our goals!  The only sad thing is that my companion is being transferred!  Elder Santamaria is going to an old area of mine actually.  He is going to Tempoal.  My new companion is Elder Flores!  I'll send a picture.  He is from Ecuador and he is super cool and friendly.  He is a band new zone leader and I get to train him.  But we both are going to be learning because I'm still brand new myself.  Honestly I don't feel any older.  I still feel like I am 18.  Yes I was taken care of very well!  I did get my box and thank you SOOOOOO much for the gifts!  I really appreciate them all and will treasure them!  Being me I opened my box 2 days early haha but I saved the presents for my Birthday and I took pictures Mom so no worries! :D  Tell Troy and his family thanks for the gifts as well as the Oaks!  I am so excited for conference we get to listen to it at the Stake Center.  Just pray for us that we can find investigators and that they will progress.  Thanks so much Mom.  I'm sending you a big hug!  Thanks for the photos, they mean so much.  I love you so much and don't worry I always think about you!  You are my Mommy!  Love you more than all the Spanish I have spoken haha!

Hola Querido padre te amo!

espero que este bien!  How are you doing Dad?  I miss you a lot!  This last week was super great for me!  We had the best week that we have had here in this area!  I was able to see how the Lord answered my prayers and helped us to find people and fulfill our goals!  I was praying for investigators and the Lord gave them to me!  The last week we have had many spiritual experiences where we have been able to share powerful testimony with others who needed help and we felt the spirit!  I'm doing good!  My companion got changed and is now in Tempoal, one of my old areas and he is training!  My new companion and fellow zone leader is Elder Flores!  He is a brand new zone leader and I get to train him haha.  But I'm still new myself!  It will be fun.  My Birthday was great and I did get my box, thanks!  I was just happy that our day was super great that day!  I had to laugh a little because we were in a lesson at the end of the day and out of no where I heard the Mexican birthday song come on from another house down the road and I thought it was a pretty funny coincidence haha.  Yes Dad they do have McDonalds here.  Yes I'm sure you can buy tacos there.  Basically what is happening now is that in every zone there will be 2 zone leaders but in different areas and each zone leader will be training.  In these changes right now I'm not training but I probably will be in the next one!  For now my companion is a zone leader too.  Thanks so much Dad.  I'm really glad you share your testimony with me and that you are strengthening me.  I also have a testimony of this church and gospel and know that it is true!  We are playing for the true team of the Lord and we will not lose!  Love you to infinity Dad!

Hey my awesome Mom!

I hope all is well and that you are doing ok!  I love you Mom!  This week was a really good week as well!  We didn't have as much success this week in finding people or teaching lessons but I was happy even through the trials and we had some good experiences!  This week we had a lot of lessons and plans fall through because people weren't there or couldn't accompany us to appointments.  But we did have the opportunity to give service last week to a man that was shoveling dirt out front of his house!  We stopped and asked him if we could help him and he readily agreed.  So we got most of it moved for him.  I was on divisions with a new missionary here and it was a great experience for us both!  We had a really good opportunity after to teach the man and he is interested in the gospel.  There is a youth here who is getting ready to leave for his mission next week and so we visited his Mom and I shared a scripture with her to help her not worry so much and to feel better.  It was D&C 100: 1-2 and the situation made me think of you so that's why I shared that scripture!  Love you Mom!  Just keep that in your prayers and do what Heavenly Father tells you and all will be well!  Tell Ray and Brother Godfrey I said hi and I know Heavenly Father will help him find a job! 

I'm sure I will get my box before my birthday.  Thanks Mom and yes I will take pictures!  My companion is doing good.  We do have investigators but satan has really been giving us and them a lot of opposition because they all have problems and they are really getting in the way of their progression.  We are doing our best to help them and all will be well.  I'm definitely going to try and be better.  I've been doing really good but some days are harder than others.  But for the most part I'm doing good.  Thanks so much Mommy!  I love you best and more than all the needles and thread on the earth!

Thanks Dad!

I love you!  I hope all is well with you!  My week was a little bit harder in terms of success and numbers but in terms of spirit and effort it was great!  I'm going to try even harder this week to be better!  This week we were able to give service to a man moving dirt and it opened the door to share the gospel with him and that has opened the door to 5 future investigators!  We still haven't been able to find him at home but we are going to keep trying!  He seems interested.  I hope you and Mom enjoy Makena's play tell her good luck. 

We never stop working but it's a lot of fun.  I've been trying to get to know my missionaries better and to help them be more successful.  I will be honest though sometimes I wonder why I was put in this position.  There have been a lot of times where I don't feel adequate or like there are so many others better than me.  But no matter what the trial is I will always keep working and never give up! :D  Yes I am doing great and the members love us!  I haven't felt so much opposition in all of my mission.  Satan is fighting hard against us and our investigators and they all have problems and aren't progressing very well but we will find a way to help them!  I love you Dad and thanks for your love and advise!  Keep being awesome!  Love you bunches!

Hola Mama!

Te love!  There's some Spanish for you.  Hope all is well!  I loved the pictures of dinner at Red Lobster.  I miss those biscuits, it's been so long.  This week was good mommy!  I'm doing great and feeling great too!  I'm super happy and I love being a zone leader!  Leave it to Mom to pay attention to the details haha.  Okay you caught,  yes I was struggling a little but not anymore!  I'm doing a lot better:D  I know everything will not always be perfect.  I just don't want to focus on the bad.  I like being positive and that's what I like to share in my letters.  I know no one expects me to be perfect.  It's just my personality because I expect it  of myself but I've gotten better!  Thank you for your support Mom! :D  Honestly I do feel really happy.  I think I was made for missionary life!  I love being a missionary!  I've progressed so much in being happy even through trials!  I know that I can be happy no matter what!  I decide my happiness :D  I'm really glad you love me and care for me!  You are #1!!!!  It's all thanks to the Lord that I'm becoming who I am.  Thanks to him I'm me!  We are lucky and blessed to have a prophet on the earth!  Thank you so much Mom!  Many miracles will happen this week!  I love you!  We are just breaking all kinds of records!  I love you more than all the clouds I have seen in the last 3 days and that is a ton!

Hi Dad

I hope you are doing well!  I love you a lot and miss you!  This week was a lot better.  I'm doing great and we have had some success with investigators!  We have had a lot of problems come up though with a lot of our investigators.  We have to get them divorced from old marriages and then remarried.  It's a long process but we are going to do all we can to help them.  I'm so excited to get my box be sure and tell everybody thank you for sending me things.  I can't believe I'm going to be 20.  I honestly don't feel like it.  I feel like I'm still 18.  The good thing is that we never cease to exist so time really isn't a factor anymore! 

We have had some storms and some were pretty big.  It's been raining here for like three days straight.  There was no one at church because of the rain but we did have 2 investigators show up!  We almost always have ocean breezes.  It's almost always windy here which really helps with the heat.  I really don't have that long left but I'm not going to focus on that.  I'm going to work to the last second!  I really like the work, it keeps me busy and it's actually fun.  My body has gotten accustomed to it and everything is going good!  I really like being a zone leader.  This week we are going to have super splits.  That means that the whole zone is going to have divisions!  Awhile ago there was only one zone leader here in this mission.  They are actually thinking about going back to that in the next change and they are thinking about having the zone leaders train too.  So if that comes to pass then I will be pretty much a lone zone leader and training at the same time.  That should be interesting! 

You are a great father and I'm super grateful to be your son!  We have had to let some things slide to another day but that bugs me because they need to be done.  I don't like letting things slide because it makes me feel disobedient.  But we have so much we have to do.  It's really hard to fit it all in.  I feel like Satan is trying all the harder to get at me and it just feels like a constant onslaught from him.  But I know that he cannot win and that I shall be victorious.  Sometimes I get discouraged but I've gotten a lot better at that.  I've gotten stronger and I'm able to keep going forward and be happy too!  I will always pick myself back up and keep on running!  I will do my best!  Thank you so much for your advise!  Love you lots Dad!

Hello Mum!

Love you lots!  My week was great!  I had my first zone class as a zone leader and it was really cool!  Honestly being a leader is hard but it is really rewarding as well!  I've been really blessed with this opportunity.  It just leaves you REALLY tired haha because we don't get to bed until LATE!  I know Heavenly Father will help me as I turn to him for guidance!  The zone conference went great too!  I really learned a lot listening to President Jordan!  He really is the best mission president ever!  On P-days we do pretty much what you do at home on Saturdays.  We clean, buy food, cut hair, write home, rest haha, get everything ready for the week so we can focus on working.  My companion is doing good!  He's been a little sick but he is doing better.  He has been really helpful to me and he is awesome!  I'm really fortunate to have him as a companion!  Thank you so much for the package, if it's not to late could you send a small laminated version of my patriarchal blessing that would be great. 

Tell Troy hi and that I really miss him!  Tell him also that he is an awesome brother!  The army is lucky to have such a great doctor as Jeremy, thank him for his service.  Tell Aliya good luck and I hope she wins!  I'm sure she will do a great job.  It is cool Makena and Riley are both in plays.  Tell all the kids thanks for making me cards for my birthday and that I can't wait to read them.

We had a pretty cool experience!  We were riding on the bus and there was this lady that was like 20 something years old and she kept looking at us during the ride.  Before she got off she came back to us and handed us a note and 20 pesos!  The note said: You can do it! Don't give in!  It was a really neat experience, but we have know idea who she was!  Whenever I see mothers I always think of you and I do my best to help them so you will be proud of me.  Thank you so much for your letter Mom!  I love you more than all the pages in all the copies of the Book of Mormons that I have given out!  Love you best!  Thanks for being the worlds best Mom!

Hi Dad!

I love you!  I'm really grateful for your sense of humor!  You always make me laugh and for that I am grateful!  Thank You!  When you were on your mission was there only one zone leader or were there 2?  Did you ever have any leadership  positions?  This week was a little bit harder but really good!  I had another great experience of listening to the spirit and finding someone who wants to know more!  It was well needed because that day wasn't going so well!  Being a zone leader is hard though.  I want to do things perfectly but I know that's not possible... I don't want to disappoint my mission president or the Lord either.  I want my mission to change me and I'm trying to let it but I don't think I'm doing a very good job at that.  I want to be more converted and committed but it seems like something always gets in the way.  What advice do you have for me?  Well we only had one investigator come to church last week.  We should have had three to five but I don't know what happened.  I'm trying to do the best I can to help these people come.  We didn't find as many new investigators this week but in this coming week we are going to have miracles!  You would be amazed to see how things are over here.  It seems like whatever person can start their own church can and it's from God.  A lot of times I feel like I can't explain things any clearer to the people we teach but they still don't understand.  I don't know why it's like this.  I'm going to try to have the spirit more this week and see if that makes the difference.  We still visit the people with the daughter that died but I don't think they understand very well.  As of now they don't seem very probable.  Yes it really is hard trying to do everything at once.  We have been failing a lot in our own planning for the day and for the week and that is something I want to change.  For the others to follow the example I have to set the example!  I really want to turn this area around.  It's also been super hard getting up on time these last few days.  I've been getting up about 10 minutes late sometimes because of the toll the work has taken on my body.  I'm trying my hardest to get up on time and this week I will do better!  I feel like I have to be perfect every second here and even more so as a zone leader.  I have really high expectations for myself .  Thank you so much for your help Dad.  I really appreciate it.  I have a question?  Is it possible to repent of every sin we have ever committed? Hola Mama!  Te amo!

Well this last week was super interesting.  I had my first leadership training meeting with all the zone and district leaders and I also had my first mission leadership council or concilio.  The concilio is when all the zone leaders and assistants and President and Sister Jordan get together.  We talk about the direction the mission should take and how we can better our zones.  It's really cool!  Let me just say we ALWAYS have something to be doing!  We never rest!  I'm grateful for all the prayers.  I'm trying to do the best I can :D  We have been really blessed here and we have found a lot of good people!  We are just battling in getting them to come to church on Sunday!  Yes I remember it's Meg's birthday and will send an email.  I am so glad that Troy is going back to school, tell him good luck. 

The Dog in the picture I sent last week isn't ours haha.  It was the neighbors who also happens to be our landlord.  They had their dog on the patio of the house where we live.  Also the picture of the video screen is on a bus and don't worry I didn't use or even touch them haha.  I'll be sure and let all my former companions know that if they are ever in Arizona they are welcome to stay at our house! 

Well as zone leader we look a lot at the numbers of the zone and we do divisions with other missionaries.  We also make zone plans and teach classes and a whole lot more.  Pretty much we do whatever we can to help our missionaries to grow and achieve more success.  No I'm sure all the other zone leaders are a lot more handsome but thanks!  Thank you so much Mom for everything!  I'm really blessed to have you as my Mom!  I love you more than all the sons in the world love their Mothers!  Keep being awesome!

Buenas tardes papa!  Te amo mucho!

Hey I hope you are doing well!  This last week was super awesome!  I was able to attend my first leadership training meeting with all the district and zone leaders.  I also attended my first mission leadership council!  It was super cool and I learned a lot!:D  I also did divisions this week with an Elder and we found 6 new investigators in one day!  It was awesome!  The crocodiles you asked about don't get super big, I've only seen one or two but it's rare.  Well I want to get a picture of some.  I'll try and get a picture of one before I leave the area.  The apartment is nice!  It's small but has AC and it's nice and cold!  I really like it here even though when at home we spend most of our time in our room because that is where the AC is haha!  The water is like luke warm but sometimes it is cold.  It's really nice to cool down with.  We don't have a heater here and I don't think we will need it.  My companion and the area are great!  This week only 2 investigators came to church but it's really awesome because we contacted them my first week here and they came that Sunday!  That is the fastest I've ever seen someone come to church! They like it and I'm sure they will be baptized!  We have been finding a lot of investigators though and they are all nice!  We had a really cool experience last week where we saw a lady carrying some groceries home so we ran over to her and helped her and we talked with her and we found out her daughter had died.  Some priests had told her that her daughter was doomed because she hadn't studied the Bible or something like that.  We had a really spiritual experience sharing the plan of salvation with them and they are super interested! Yes we go on splits a lot but it's fun!  Just one thing that worries me is being strictly obedient.  I'm not bad and look to break rules I'm just trying to be as perfectly obedient as I can but a lot of times I get frustrated and sad and I feel like every single little mistake I make is like the worlds gravest sin.   I'm trying to get over that and be confident and firm in my obedience.  Would you have any tips for me Dad?  I feel like I've gotten so busy that the spiritual experiences don't happen as much and the revelation doesn't come as much now.  I'm trying to fix that!  We get a little bit of extra money for traveling but not much.  Thanks so much Dad!  I love you and miss you!  This week we have our zone class that my companion and I teach and the zone conference with President Jordan.  Have a great week Dad and take care of yourself!  Love you!

Hello Mom!

Love you lots!  Sorry I won't be able to write much this week!  Being a zone leader means you are super busy all the time!  But don't worry it won't be like this every week haha.  Thanks Mom I'm definitely excited but I highly doubt that I'm the best lol.  There are tons of missionaries way better than me!  One of them is my companion.  He is super awesome and we are working great!  Being a zone leader is a lot of fun!  Could you send a cheap CTR ring for my companion and also we have an idea to give out CTR rings here could you send some of the green ones in a package like you did last time?  I'm so glad Bryce is doing so good, the language will come!  I'm so glad Ty is getting ready to go.  Let me know where he goes!  Yes lifting buckets all day was great, it wasn't to far.  The well was just outside at the front of the church.  Satan will try to stop the Lords work but he won't win!  We will not let him!  Happy early anniversary and Happy Birthday to Meg's!  Don't remind me about my birthday, I'm going to be old!  I'm sure we will still be companions by the time the package gets here.  If not I can get the things you send for him to him easy.  The area I'm in is super close to the beach.  It's really windy here and there are a lot of lagoons.  Also we have crocodiles!  I saw one the other day.  They are pretty big!  It's definitely a lot cooler here than in Mante.  Tell brother Koga I say hi!  I love you so much Mom!  Thanks for your support!  I am doing great and all is well!  Love you more than all the miles I have walked!

It really was a great experience baptizing the family.  I know others will be baptized!  I'm so excited to be working here!  Although we had to carry the water from outside the church to fill the baptismal font, it wasn't to far.  The well was out front of the church and we had to carry it inside.  Yes Satan does try to stop the Lords work but he can't!!!!  I didn't let him! 

Now where I am at is super close to the beach!  Actually the beach is in our area but we can't go there.  My area is really fresh.  It's windy and a lot less hot than Mante.  It's a little hilly too and we have a lot of lagoons and crocs!!  Krikey!  I've been able to meet a lot of the members and they are super great.  Church was awesome!  We only had one investigator come though.  We were able to find a lot of investigators this week.  I had an awesome experience on the bus the other day.  As we were driving I offered a couple of seats to some ladies that were standing and something really cool happened!  I saw that throughout the rest of the ride several men got up and offered their seats to women!  Preaching by example!!!  It was super awesome!  Yes my area is clean and safe haha.  People are very friendly here too!  My companion has about the same time as me haha.  He doesn't talk much English but I'm teaching him.  My companion has about 6 months as a zone leader.  He will probably be changed in the next transfers.  When I got here there were a few people progressing.  We are going to baptize every week and as of right now we are on track to do it!  I know a lot of the missionaries in the zone.  We teach the zone class at the beginning of each month and we also have mission leadership councils every month with president and the other zone leaders and the assistants.  We do a LOT!  We almost don't sleep!  It's great!  Thank you so much for your counsel Dad!  I will follow it!  I love and miss you!  Have a great week and be safe!

Hey Mom!

I love you and miss you!!!!  I hope that all is well.  I definitely have some interesting news!  This week we had changes and I got changed!  President Jordan made me a zone leader!!  That definitely wasn't expected!!  We also had 3 baptisms on Saturday!  I will send photo's next week.  My companions name is Elder Santamaria, he is from Yucatan and he is awesome!  We are getting along super well!!  We have a lot of great ideas we are going to put into play with the zone in this change and we are going to work super hard!  In our zone we have 18 missionaries and we are responsible for all of them.  This change is going to be awesome!!! 

I need to send a box or two home so in your next email can you send me the address of our house.  I can't tell you much about the area because I don't know it very well.  It's the city of Madero.  Interesting experience this week the baptismal font broke on Saturday and we still had more than half way to go to fill it up.  So we filled it with buckets of water that we got from a cistern of water that the church has.  We were filling up the font from about 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, but it was worth it!  Thank you for everything Mom!  I sure love and miss you!  Be safe and take care of Dad!  Trust in the Lord and all will be well!  Love you more than all the buckets of water I lifted on Saturday haha!  Love you best!

I love you!  The baptisms went great!  All 3 were baptized and the spirit was super strong!  I got to confirm Patricia and Alexia on Sunday!  It was a great experience!  I got transferred Dad!  I left the area with all I had and things are going well there!  I received a surprise though when my zone leaders called me to tell me I was going to be a zone leader!  President Jordan made me a zone leader in zone ampleacion.  It's a zone in Madero city.  I'm so excited but really nervous at the same time!  I'm super excited for this opportunity and I will give it all I have!  My companions name is Elder Santamaria and he is from Yucatan!  He is a really good missionary and I'm super excited to work with him!  It's interesting how hard Satan works to stop baptisms.  On Saturday our baptismal font broke and we had to fill it by a bucket.  So from about 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon we were drawing water out of a cistern and filling the font with it.  It was worth it though!  That is one thing I am really trying to do well is obey the spirit!  When I have an impression I want to do it!  I will give it my all!  I am very proud to call you  my father!  I've been blessed to have you as a guide for me!  Thank you so much!  Take care of yourself Dad!  I know this work is true and nothing will dissuade me!  I love you bunches and miss you more!

My best missionary Mom!!:D

My week was absolutely awesome!  It was full of surprises!  We had a great experience with one of our investigators this week!  We had asked her to pray about Joseph Smith and she did it!  She came back and told us that after the prayer a thought came to her mind that said trust what the Elders are teaching you and continue on with the gospel!  I was super happy when she told us that!  It was a great experience!  Also next Saturday we have 3 baptisms!!!  A family we have been teaching is going to be baptized on the 16th.  I'm super happy!:D 

I love you best mommy!!!  Transfers are next Monday and I find out Sunday if I get transferred or not.  I'm pretty sure I will get transferred because I've been here for 4 and half months. Thank you for your testimony Mom!  I also want you to know that I have a grand testimony of this marvelous work that I am doing!  I also know that Heavenly Father loves his children and he listens to them.  We are here for a purpose and with Heavenly Fathers help we can have peace and joy in this life!  We exist to be happy!  (2 Nephi 2:25)  The Savior is always there waiting at the top with a ladder lowered for us!  All we have to do is just take hold of it and start climbing.  He will help us in ANY situation!  He loves us!

Hola Papa! te amo!

I hope all is well!!!  My week here was wonderful!!!  We had a lot of progress and we are slowly working towards our goals!  This past Saturday I had a really awesome experience!  I was on mini divisions because 3 of our investigators were in their baptismal interview so another Elder and I went out to make good use of the time and work in my area.  We were able to do a lot of service and invite people to church!  Just as we were heading back to the interviews a thought came to mind to go visit a man we had contacted but hadn't be able to find him in his house.  So we immediately went to his house and I saw that his door was open.  It had never been opened before when we passed by so we shouted out to him and he received us well!!!  He now has a baptismal date for the 20th of September!  It was a great testimony builder to see that it was inspiration from the Lord!  I'm pretty sure that I have planted a lot of seeds.  I've definitely seen that as the weeks progress maybe I don't reach my goal completely but I'm continually progressing and the day will come when I'll reach it!  I believe that what I am doing is good.  Thanks Dad for all your support!  I love you lots!  Miss you.

Hola Mama!

I know you will be sad with all the kids gone this week.  Remember all will be well and just be happy!  I love you, your the best Mom ever!  The months feel like days over here.  I can't believe I only have about 10 months left. 

This week was great!  With the family we are going to baptize we have struggled a bit with tithing.  It kind of startled them a bit and we were worried but we fasted that they would still go to church and they came Sunday!  They even came early!  It was so awesome.  I love sharing experiences with you because you are part of it. 

No worries Mom, the good thing is that you won't ever loose any of this if you live the gospel:)  The happiness you have from our family you will continue to have, that's what Heavenly Father wants for us all.  So don't worry because it will never end!  I hope I can be like you when I grow up.  I love you more than all the sand and dust in Arizona!

Hi Pops!

Love you and miss you lots!  This week was definitely interesting and hard but good at the same time.  We had a wonderful experience!  As a mission we have the goal to baptize every week here in Mexico.  That is our individual goal as well.  It requires a lot of planning ahead and we have to plan about 5 weeks out every week.  Heavenly Father has really been helping us to reach our goal.  My companion and I each week have a certain baptismal date that we are going to put for all new investigators we find in that week.  This last week we were struggling a little bit to find people for the baptismal date and I remember saying a prayer and asking Heavenly Father for his help and instantly a thought came to my mind to go a certain direction to visit someone.  Long story short we ended up finding a sister who accepted the baptismal date!  It was really wonderful to have our prayer answered!  We have also been battling with some investigators of ours that are going to be baptized in 2 weeks.  They have been struggling with tithing and it scared them at first and we struggled to find them again and we almost lost them.  At last we were able to explain it to them better and they calmed down a little bit but it definitely had us preoccupied. 

Thanks for all your advice!  I definitely needed that.  Thank you for your knowledge.  I know Heavenly Father is in charge and I should be content with where I am and it's true that the workers really do make things happen.  Thank you so much Dad!  I love you and I hope you have an awesome week!  Be safe and do something fun with Mom!  Love ya!

Hi Mom!!!!

Okay how did Jeremy get that video?  That was so cool!!!!  Thank you so much for that!!!  It meant a lot to me.  The video from David Archuleta was the best surprise ever!!!  I was so happy when I saw it and it brought tears to my eyes.  He told me to keep working hard and he let me know how I'm blessing the lives of everyone here and to remember to forget myself and work for these people.  It was awesome!!!! 

We have found a lot of people to teach and we had such a great experience this week!  The family I told you about last week, the sister has another sister that lives here close by and she has been working with her so she will accept the gospel.  Finally she accepted to listen to us!  She has a strong desire to change and in these last few days she has changed so much!!!  There was a young single adult activity that was going to happen in another city and we were able to get her registered to go just in time and it literally changed her life!  She was able to see that life can be fun and that Heavenly Father really does love her and she has changed so much!!!  We have an appointment with her today!  I know you want to help others, just give it the best you can every day and the Lord will help you.  Every moment is filled with decisions and we can make the ones that will help us be better.

Hey Dad!

I know how you feel about the heat, except it's worse here!  The thunder is like 10 times louder and the house starts to shake!  It really doesn't help you to sleep at all haha!  Lately it's just been hot and muggy! 

One of our investigators is now progressing well and has a baptismal date!  We also met a friend of his that he introduced us too and he is interested.  This week was full of surprises and learning experiences!  I can see how the Lord is blessing us because we are slowly progressing towards our goals!  Thank you for sharing your mission experience about always being honest.  Honesty is always important and I do my best to be completely honest.  I can say that now it's not hard for me to be honest.  Wow what an experience!  I'm really glad you told the truth Dad!  You are such a great example!  Thanks for all you do for me and for sharing these experiences with me!  Thank you so much for your letter!  I love and miss you so much!  What you said is definitely true and I will do my best to be a consecrated missionary!  Dad what do you know about perfectionism?  How can I keep it under control and work with it?  Love you so much!!!

Hullo favorite Mum!

I know I'm not in England but I just wanted to try that.  This week was good!  We found a great family that we had contacted earlier and they seem really interested!  We have a really awesome family that will be baptized in 3 weeks! 

I love the pictures of the kids, Kellston is growing up so fast!  I am so glad that you help the missionaries when they ask you.  Thank you for doing that and I know that you will and are being blessed! There are a lot of things happening back home.  I'm going to get back and not recognize anything. 

My week was good.  I feel that I have progressed a lot in my time here and I have definitely noticed some changes in me.  It's almost like discovering who you really are and it is so great!  I have been blessed with really strong desires to be a consecrated missionary and Heavenly Father has been helping me to do it!  He is helping me learn how to be a good missionary and he is preparing me for my future family.  Something I have started doing is writing a gratitude journal.  Each day I write down what I'm grateful for and the ways the Lord has blessed me in that day.  It has helped me so much with my humility!  I know how you feel about trying to change but prayerfully pick one or two things to start with and work on those and then you can move on to others!  Focus on where you want to go but also make plans of how you will get there!  Just keep trying!!!!  Thank you and Dad for being my hero's!  You two are awesome!  Just keep on smiling and I will too :D  I love you so much Mom!  Thanks for everything!  I love you more than all the humidity in Mante!

Good Morning Dad!

Hope all is well in Arizona!  This week was great!  We had some great experiences!  One of the contacts I told you about when I had listened to the spirit about the different streets has a baptismal date!  When we first contacted him awhile ago he was mildly interested in our message and after that we lost contact with him for a bit because he wasn't home.  This week we went back to see if he was there and we found him and he has changed!  He is now ready to hear the gospel because of the trials he has been passing through.  He says he feels the need to become closer to God!  It was great! 

We found 4 new investigators this past week and they seem really good.  One thing we struggle with here is help from the members.  The Lord doesn't ask for all of our time in helping the missionaries, he just asks for a little bit and blesses us even more!  Thanks for sharing some of your missionary experiences with me.   I love that you gave a less active member your coat it really inspired me.  Thanks for sharing that with me Dad!  Thank you for your example.

Where I am is a mix between Arizona and Georgia, really hot and humid.  It's not very big.  It's a really crowed city but my area is on the outskirts of the city.  There aren't really many farms here inside the city, but there are a lot of trees.  They have jobs like we do, there are taxis, businesses, farmers, and lots of people sell things in the streets.

Hi Missionary Mom!

te amo mucho! como esta??  yo estoy fantastic!  I'm glad your elbow is ok.  Just be sure to take good care of it.  If you need help ask for it!  Hugo is 20 years old, but he is doing such a great job!  We found him converted!  We still haven't had a chance to ask him about serving a mission, but I'm pretty sure he will.  This week we did a lot of work!  We found a lot of new people and there are a lot of people that are interested!  Things are continually getting better!  I know Heavenly Father is helping me in his work and I know that He is watching over me! 

The kids are getting so big!  Kellston is so funny, but I know he loves you Mom!  I do too!  Wow it looks like I'm going to come back all famous from the sound of how much your talking about me.  Your such a great Mom!  The pictures I sent were one with Elder Spellacy, and yes that is my entire zone!  Yes as I'm sure you can already tell we are VERY crazy!  My companion and I are awesome!  We get along really well and work together great!

Hey Dad!

Love you and hope all is well!  We had a really good week this last week and we found a lot of new investigators!  Things are continually getting better!  I know that the Lord is helping me in his work!  I also know that the Lord watches over his children and that he loves all of them!  The work is going really great.  I got my box and all was well.  Thanks for sending it!  Make sure to take good care of yourself.  You need to start taking better care of yourself Dad.  Please do that for me!  I really hope that I'm doing the best I can and that results will come.  I will never quit working and I will always be obedient.  I love being a missionary and I love this work!  Thank you for all the prayers!  I love you so much and miss you lots Dad!  Hey you should start sharing with me some experiences from your mission!  I want to know how it went for you and what it was like!  Thank you for being such an awesome Dad!  I love you so much!

Hola Mom!

te amo! te extrano tambien!  espero que este bien!  yo estoy bien y muy animado por estar aqul trabajando!  There's your little bit of Spanish practice haha!  Don't worry I'll be home in less than a year!  Take care of your arm and do what the doctors say.  Don't worry all will be well soon if you do what they say!  It's like the commandments, if you obey them all is well!  If not then you have to suffer the consequences! 
I've actually been cleaning a lot too!  Oh and now I understand why you make a list before you go to the store!  If you don't you spend like a couple hours there trying to figure out what your going to get.  Now all the girls can have a good laugh about that one!  I love you Mom!  Some days are easy and others not so much but we must find the determination to continue on and it will all be well! 

I love sharing experiences with you!  Trust me I still have a lot of learning to do and I need to be a better missionary. :)  No that doesn't mean I have been disobedient haha, I just want to be better!  Hugo is great!  He was actually just made  Young Men's president and is doing an awesome job!  Now that is pretty epic!  I love you more than all the universes that exist!  Have a great week Mom!  I love you so much!

All is well here!  We had a good week last week and found a lot of new investigators that look promising!  I'm staying here in Mante another change with my same companion!  If all goes well this change we should have 5 or so baptisms!  I've had some really interesting experiences, just wait until I get home and I can give you all the details.  We have a few people that look like they will progress well!  We are just going to trust in Heavenly Father and do our best.  I love you a lot Dad and miss you too!  Have a great week and take care of yourself!
